Free Shipping & returns
Standard shipping is always free for all of the products on our website. We do have upgraded shipping options for most items* that will include an additional fee. Standard shipping includes delivery to your front door and does not include a new mattress setup or removal of the old mattress.
For purchases made directly on our website, we only ship within the United States, to the lower 48 states. At this time we do not offer shipping to Alaska or Hawaii.
How will my mattress be delivered?
Our mattresses are manufactured and shipped directly from our manufacturing facility. When you are checking out, you will have the option to select White Glove Delivery for an additional fee, which includes set up in the room of your choice, as well as removal of an old mattress.
You also have the option of complimentary Threshold Delivery, which includes delivery to your front door and will not include any setup or removal options.
Both of these delivery options will require you to schedule delivery and require an adult to be present at the time of delivery. Most deliveries occur within 2-4 weeks of the order being placed.
Returns
Before starting a return, we encourage giving your mattress a month of use for your body to adjust to the new feel and for it to break in. During this time the foam will become less stiff.
While waiting a month is encouraged, this break-in period can vary from person to person. Please be mindful that you do not have to wait a month before starting a return, however, if the mattress isn’t the perfect fit.
Non-Serta.com Orders
Please note: if you did not purchase directly through Serta.com, your return must be completed through your original retailer. If you have the receipt from your purchase, the contact information should be listed for the appropriate retailer. They can discuss their terms and provide you with any additional information.
If the retailer you purchased from has gone out of business, there will likely be no active return/exchange policy. You can try contacting the corporate number for the retailer you purchased from if they are still available, but if not, the mattress is considered a final sale.
The following information is specific to purchases made directly through Serta.com. For purchases made through any other retailer or website, please contact them directly for return eligibility and options.
Serta.com’s 120-Night Sleep Trial
We understand it can take time to decide if a product is right for you, which is why we offer an at-home trial on all Serta.com products. Our 120-Night Sleep Trial starts on the date of delivery and allows you to return any products that aren't a good fit for a full refund, so you can rest assured you won't be stuck with something you don't love!
Generally, for mattress and base returns, we'll help coordinate removal with our delivery partners at RXO. For all other items, we will provide guidance that may include alternative options.

Once we receive your request (please allow up to 48 hours), we will send an email to the email address on file with the next best steps for your return.
Terms & Conditions
Our return policy allows for one return or exchange per household, per 12 months. This means we can only return and refund or exchange one mattress purchased within the same 12 months.
How Returns Work
Our return process varies depending on one factor; who the product was delivered by.
RXO: Most of our items ship via our delivery partners at RXO and can be returned with RXO. In these cases, once you've let us know you'd like to start the return, we’ll reach out to RXO to create a return order. Within 3 business days, will get in touch with you directly via phone and/or email to schedule a date for removal.
FedEx: If the item was delivered by FedEx, we will provide guidance on removal or, in some cases, the potential for donation some organizations accept our gently used products. We want Serta.com goods that still have plenty of life in them to find new homes and not go to waste.
If you determine your product is not a good fit, and decide to return, please fill out this form to initiate the process. We work to ensure a smooth return experience and will provide the best next steps.
Refunds
Refunds are issued back to the original form of payment once we receive confirmation that the return shipment or pickup has been completed. Please allow 5-10 business days for refunds to be processed by your financial institution.
